Southern Pines, 7.9 miles from DWS, and Pinehurst, 11 miles from DWS, and Vass have eclectic shopping, a multitude of quaint restaurants, and some of the best golfing in America! There are said to be 40+ golf courses within a 20 mile radius of Pinehurst. Just 3.7 miles from the Daily Walk Stables you can play golf at the Veteran-Owned Hyland Golf Club. The charming town of Cameron, 9 miles from DWS, offers several antique stores to explore.

Daily Walk Stables is a cozy campground tucked away from daily life in a secluded and quiet meadow setting. Our wide variety of Visitors include campers coming in to visit family, play golf or attend golf tournaments, as well as the wonderful dining and shopping available in Southern Pines, Pinehurst and Vass. Trail riders and drivers can enjoy 4000+ acres of sandy trails open year round and short 3 mile trailer ride from your campsite.
We have hosted a variety of equestrians: Trail riders looking for a new experience; locals wanting to trailer in and ride for more than one day; endurance riders taking advantage of the sandy trails for training; riders in for riding clinics or to visit their horse in training with a local expert; travelers wanting a short layover; and people coming in from another state to visit family or friends and get a few rides in on the trails.
Camping Pricing and Amenities
Daily Walk Stables & Campground is a Small Private Gated Farm. We are able to accommodate large Travel Coaches, RVs and LQ Horse Trailers. If you are coming to the Sandhills to enjoy Moore County, visit family or friends, golf, ride your horses or we are a safe child and pet friendly choice. All guests have the opportunity to enjoy the peaceful farm atmosphere. The kids especially enjoy petting the ponies, and seeing the goats and chickens! Pony grooming sessions are available by appointment.
PRICES: CAMPSITES 30amp/$50 night, 50amp/$60 per night ($65 for Campers over 34ft.) For Multiple week and Monthly RATES please call.
CAMPING WITH YOUR HORSE: 30 amp/$40 night, 50 amp/$50 night. Horses can stay in 12'x12' pipe corrals $15/night or covered stalls/$25 night. Trailhead to the Walthour-Moss Foundation trails is a short 3 mile trailer haul. Pony petting and grooming available with advanced scheduling with reservation. Call or text the farm for more details.

CAMP and RIDE
Daily Walk Stables is excited to offer a new way to enjoy the Walthour-Moss Foundation — Camping with your horse! The trails have been used for decades by the 400+ local horse farms and nearby day riders. But with the opening of Daily Walk Stables horsemen who have to travel several hours can now camp year round with their horse and enjoy the 4000+ acres of land dedicated to the preservation of natural habitat for wildlife and equestrian purposes.
Miles of sandy trails suitable for both riding and driving activities. No shoes required! No Muddy Season here in the Sandhills and suitable for year round riding activities.
